There are many ways you can lend a hand with helping Veterans Cadre. Email info@veteranscadre.org to inquire about opportunities or complete the form on this page and someone will be in touch with you.

Following is a list of roles our volunteers fill, but feel free to suggest something along the lines of your own interests if you don’t see it here:

Dog Class helpers: Our dog trainers by participating as a class helper whose duties can include approaching, distracting, or engaging dogs and/or their handlers. This is a fun way to learn about dog training.

Outreach: For those who enjoy talking to the public and are willing and able to help educate people about service dogs and Veterans Cadre! It’s an opportunity to make a big impact on community veterans and their pets. We’d love to have your assistance manning booths, passing out information, handling dogs, or administrative support as this nonprofit grows!

Photographers/Videographers/Assistants: Our photography team provides attractive photographs of Veterans Cadre members and supporters as well as showcasing upcoming events. Whether you have a talent for photography or would like to be involved by helping as an assistant, we would be happy to have your help.

Web Team: Our web team performs a variety of tasks, such as writing bios, supporting and expanding our social media platforms (mainly Facebook and Instagram), building web pages, writing, editing, providing content and more!

Other Ways to Help: There are many short-term projects and special events for which volunteers are needed. We also have jobs such as creating flyers, lending a hand with online tasks or … you name it! Bring us your ideas, energy and enthusiasm – we’re always happy to hear from you about a project you’d like to jumpstart.
